Airstream for Sale!

Our first Airstream, Louise. Isn't she a beaut?

Our first Airstream, Louise. Isn't she a beaut?

Recently, our friend Erin decided to sell Louise, her 1957 Airstream Overlander. Fun fact: it's the very first Airstream we renovated! This was the Airstream that started it all, and though we wish we could buy Louise back, we're not in a position to do so at this time.

Erin's reasons for selling are personal, but ultimately, she wishes she wasn't in a position to have to sell. Erin purchased Louise from us and turned the Airstream into a successful Airbnb in her backyard. With the sale of her house imminent, she is looking for a buyer for Louise, and enlisted my help.

This Airstream is located in OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON.

Erin has made changes to Louise's design and function since the sale, but the overall feel and aesthetic has remained intact. This means it looks pretty much exactly the same as it does in the photos below. She is also willing to sell the decor and linens with the trailer, which is both original (from us!) and also things Erin has added. Louise would make an excellent Airbnb, guest house, or tiny house, though is equipped with a new axle and brakes. Louise could be taken on the road with some modifications, as Erin has set Louise up to be stationary at this time.

If you've been looking to buy a custom-renovated Airstream from us, this is your chance! This is the original 'Modern Caravan', and the price can't be beat! Details below.

A note from Erin:

This is a 1957 Overlander Airstream, remodeled by Birch & Pine/The Modern Caravan. This was their first Airstream remodel and I love it! Wood cabinetry, pull down couch bed, large dining table, this Airstream has everything and the year and model are incredibly hard to find. Use as is, or add your personal touches.

This Airstream is ideal to use as a guest house, Airbnb (that is what I have used it for for over two years), or to travel in.

New hot water heater, shower, toilet, underside insulation. I am selling the property that this house lives on, otherwise I would love to keep it long term. I use an induction hot plate, but it would be easy to install a two burner if that is what you want. New electric panel and all new wiring, flooring, plumbing. It does come with a small fridge and linens and decorations are negotiable.
